Founded in 2015, Fikkal Tea & Coffee in Illam is one of Nepal’s largest operational coffee farms, spanning over 800 ropanis (100 acres). Home to 65,000 coffee plants—with plans to expand to 100,000—the farm represents the vision of industry pioneers Dip Lama, Gagan Pradhan, and Anand Gurung, who helped shape Nepal’s coffee culture through Himalayan Java Coffee.
Supported by NIBL Equity Partners, Fikkal Tea & Coffee aspires to evolve into a model for sustainable agribusiness—combining coffee cultivation, processing excellence, and agro-tourism. The partnership will enhance farm infrastructure, processing facilities, and visitor engagement, positioning the company as a leader in both production and experiential tourism.
With forward integration into coffee exports, Fikkal Tea & Coffee aims to reduce Nepal’s reliance on imports while showcasing the country’s potential in premium, specialty-grade coffee on the global map.
