Mr. Arvind Mathur, a CFA charter holder, has over four decades of investment expertise spanning private equity, listed markets, and fixed income. As Chairman and President of the International Institute of Venture Capital, Private Equity and M&A, and an advisor to a portfolio institution of a $12 billion US private equity fund, he has worked closely with global investors and Sovereign Wealth Funds, including GIC, Temasek, ADIA, Bank Negara Malaysia, and CalPERS.
He is a former staff member of the Asian Development Bank. He completed advanced training programs at Harvard Business School, Columbia Business School, and various New York-headquartered investment banks, including Citi & Goldman Sachs. He has helped structure infrastructure and private equity funds across Asia and delivered professional training in leading financial centers worldwide.
In his non-executive role as Investor Advisor Member, he supports the fund by advising on ESG, governance, and helping in capacity-building.

Mr. Upendra Poudyal has nearly four decades of experience across commercial banking, investment banking, and values-based sustainable finance, bringing a deep and nuanced understanding of Nepal’s financial ecosystem. He currently serves as the Asia Pacific Regional Representative of the Global Alliance for Banking on Values (GABV) and is the Chairman of the Advisory Committee of the Post Graduate Diploma in Sustainable Business Management programme of the School of Management, Tribhuvan University.
He has previously served as Chairman of Nabil Bank Ltd., Nepal’s first joint-venture bank, and Chief Executive Officer of NMB Bank for 17 years, leading major advancements in governance, risk management, and sustainable banking. He has contributed as a banking expert to ESG and Environmental and Social Risk Management capacity-building programmes supported by IFC, FMO, and Invest for Impact Nepal.
His contributions to strengthening Nepal’s banking sector have been recognized by the Government of Nepal with the Prawal Janasewa Shree (Fourth).

Ritu Pradhan has over 16 years of experience in leading investment initiatives across various sectors. She has held leadership positions in private equity and traditional commercial banking for SMEs, where she has successfully mobilized investments and led strategic growth efforts.
Ritu has also played a key role in Nepal’s first IFC-backed private equity fund. In her past role as Country Lead for CrossBoundary in Nepal, she worked to unlock capital for sustainable growth in the agricultural sector. She led several strategic initiatives, including USAID’s efforts to enhance trade and competitiveness for Nepal’s MSMEs in agriculture, digital services, and tourism, which expanded access to both financial and non-financial products.
Her experience spans managing buy-side deals, evaluating investments based on IFC’s ESG and GIIN principles, and piloting climate-focused investments for SMEs. Ritu is also a strong advocate for gender-lens investing, having led the Invest2Equal initiative, which applies the 2x principles to drive gender equality in investments.
Additionally, Ritu has designed innovative financing mechanisms, including technical assistance, grants, and blended finance, to support the growth, resilience, and recovery of Nepal’s private sector.
