Our Vision

Impact and profit not one at the expense of the other.

The fund is designed to close Nepal’s financing gap by taking calculated risks and derisking investments in early-stage companies with at least a two-year track record demonstrating that there are alternatives to collateral-based lending.

Beyond capital, we provide strategic support and active value creation: mentorship, networking and the additional resources founders need. Our thematic focus is on tech and tech-enabled companies diversifying the fund while maintaining a hybrid investment approach with a special focus on founders ready to expand regionally or globally beyond Nepal.

Three Investment Pools

Capital is mobilized from three distinct sources, each targeting roughly USD 10 million toward a combined USD 30 million fund.

$10M

Local Investors

Domestic capital from Nepal's institutional and high-net-worth investors, anchoring the fund in local markets and expertise.

$10M

Nepali Diaspora

Mobilized through MomoVC or a new US-based entity for efficient fundraising, accounting and capital repatriation.

$10M

Development Finance Institutions

DFI and impact-investor capital drawn to portfolio companies with strong, credible development narratives.

Governance

A Co-GP model without the overhead.

The proposed Co-GP structure lets MomoVC and NIMB Ace Capital jointly manage the fund without establishing a separate SPV or new management company avoiding added regulatory complexity, extra approvals and implementation delays.

As a licensed fund manager, NIMB Ace Capital formally manages the fund, while a dedicated agreement defines governance, operational responsibilities, and fee-sharing. Legal counsel is being engaged to structure the model, and the fund is expected to be registered under SEBON for regulatory oversight and robust corporate governance.

Diaspora Capital

A proven channel to the global Nepali community.

Diaspora investments will be mobilized either through MomoVC or a newly established US-based entity enabling efficient fundraising, accounting and capital repatriation.

MomoVC is already registered as a fund manager in the United States. Its first fund raised USD 2.2 million in just four months from a mix of corporate and diaspora investors, deployed into US-based technology and venture-backed companies.

Jun 2026 NIMB Ace Capital and Momo VC Sign Strategic Partnership to Launch Nepal-Focused Investment Fund

NIBL Equity Partners is pleased to share the signing of a strategic partnership between NIMB Ace Capital Limited and Momo VC to jointly develop a Nepal-focused PE/VC investment fund.

The initiative is intended to enhance access to structured growth capital for high-potential enterprises in Nepal, while also strengthening linkages with international and diaspora investor networks.

We believe that this partnership is essential to deepening Nepal’s investment ecosystem and advancing the development of a more mature and globally integrated capital market.

We are pleased to announce that NIMB Ace Capital Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Momo VC and SNV Nepal, launching a strategic partnership to expand access to finance and technical support for high-potential, early-stage SMEs in Nepal. This builds on the USD 30 million Nepal-domiciled private equity fund launched by NIMB Ace Capital and Momo VC in June, blending diaspora capital, local institutional investment, and international development finance. Through this new partnership, SNV joins as a strategic technical partner, combining that capital with targeted technical support to strengthen governance, investment readiness, and SDG-aligned impact for prospective enterprises. Together, we look forward to strengthening Nepal’s pipeline of investment-ready businesses and demonstrating how blended finance and technical support can mobilize investment toward Nepal’s economic and green transition.
