Gurkhas Himalayan Hydro Limited is developing the 5.875 MW Upper Junbesi Khola Hydroelectric Project (UJKHPP) at Solukhumbu district in Koshi Province of Nepal. Gurkhas Himalayan Hydro Ltd. acquired the survey license for a 1-hour Peaking Run-of-River (PRoR) project with a capacity of 5.87 MW. The PPA amendment for the upgraded capacity was signed with NEA on January 1st, 2025, with an annual energy of 35.059 GWh, including 11.526 GWh (32.88%) dry energy and 23.53 GWh wet energy.
